Bangladesh Vs Ireland Bangladesh fail to whitewash Ireland, defeated by 7 wickets in 3rd T20
Dhaka, April 1: Bangladesh could not whitewash Ireland as Irish players beat the Tigers by 7 wickets with 36 balls left in the third and last T20 of the three-match series on Friday. However, Bangladesh have already sealed the series (2-1).
In the third T20 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first.
Bangladesh was bowled out for 124 in 19.2 overs. Irish bowlers Mark Adair and Matthew Humphreys got 3 and 2 wickets respectively, while Fionn Hand, Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, Benjamin White and Gareth Delany took one wicket each. Shamim Hossain scored the heighest for Bangladeshi side (51 off 42 balls).
Irish batters reached the easy total of 125 after losing 3 wickets in just 14 overs. Ireland won the game by 7 wickets with 36 balls left. Irish skipper Paul Stirling scored 77 off 41 balls with 10 boundaries and four over-boundaries. Bangladesh's Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and Rishad Hossain took one wicket each.

Bangladesh have already secured the series after beating Ireland by 22 runs (DLS) in the first match and by 77 runs in the second T20, which was reduced to a 17-over game due to rain.
