Dhaka, 6 November 2022 : Shakib Al Hasan's controversial dismissal made the entire T20 World Cup match against Pakistan controversial.

If Shakib was not dismissed due to bad umpriring then the result of the contest would hve been different.

But a controversial out ended it all. Bangladesh stopped at 127 runs. After going into bat with a target of 128 runs, Pakistan batted very calculatedly with the benefit of some fielding misses and won by 5 wickets. With that, Pakistan confirmed the semi-final spot with India from Group-2.

The goal to win was very simple. Only 128 runs. The pair of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan won such matches without losing any wicket. However, Mohammad Rizwan caught Taskin's ball behind the wicket in the first over. But Nurul Hasan Sohan could not collect the ball in his palm.

That Rizwan got out after scoring 32 runs off 32 balls. Pakistan scored 57 runs in the opening pair. Babar Azam was dismissed for 25 runs off 33 balls. Mohammad Nawaz came to bat in one down. He was run out on the field. Made only 4 runs.

Mohammad Haris made a small storm of 18 balls. He scored 31 runs. He departed with a catch in the hands of Nasum Ahmed off Shakib's ball. Iftikhar Ahmed got out after scoring 1 run. Shan Masood remained unbeaten with 24 runs off 14 balls.
