Dhaka: The women footballers of Bangladesh have met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina several times.

After winning several tournaments in South Asia, Bangabandhu's daughter invited the football girls to Ganobhaban and gave them a reception and a prize of lakhs of rupees. Maria, Sanjida and Tahura used to go to the Prime Minister and call her Madam. Then the Prime Minister said to everyone, ‘You are like my grandson. Everyone will call me grandmother or grandma.'

Since then, whenever women footballers have had the opportunity to approach the Prime Minister, everyone has called her a grandmother or a grandmother. Today, September 26, is the 64th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Women footballers are wishing the Prime Minister a happy birthday through social media.

Sanjida, Tahura, Maria Manda, Shamsunnahar wished each other a happy birthday with a picture of the Prime Minister on their Facebook wall. Someone wrote, 'Happy Birthday Nanu', someone wrote 'Happy Birthday Grandma.'

Bangabandhu's daughter cares a lot for these women footballers of the country. Whenever there is any success in women's football, the Prime Minister calls the girls to him. He talked for a long time, caressed his head with his hands, gave lakhs of rupees, as well as various gifts. Feeding the girls with their own hands is also the daughter of the father of the nation.

Tahura Khatun posted four pictures of her with the Prime Minister and wrote, "Happy Birthday to you Nanu." Below, Sanjida wrote, "Happy Birthday to Nanu."
