Dhaka, February 12: Abu Zayed Chowdhury is happy that West Indies could not score much on the first day even after winning the toss. The Bangladesh fast bowler was satisfied with the team's performance on the opening day of the Dhaka Test. He said he hoped the Caribbeans would be bowled out for less than 300 runs.

At the end of the first day at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, the West Indies scored 223 runs for 5 wickets. Nkrumah Bonner (74) and Joshua da Silva (22) are playing.

At the end of the day, Abu Zayed said that they want to take the remaining 5 wickets of the Caribbeans as soon as possible.

“I am satisfied with the performance of the first day. They lost 5 wickets and scored 223 runs. And that too in this wicket. I think at the end of the first day, the two teams are tied. They should be all out for 270 to 300 runs.”
