Bangladesh whitewash UAE in T20 series
Dubai, Sept 28: Beating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 32 runs in Dubai, Bangladesh have clinched the two-match series 2-0.
In the second and final T20 of the series, host UAE won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 169 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Bangladeshi opener Mehidy Hasan scored 46 off 37 balls.
Chasing 170, UAE managed to score 137-5 in 20 overs and lost the game by 32 runs. UAE skipper CP Rizwan and batter Basil Hameed scored 51 off 36 and 42 off 40 respectively.
Bangladesh's Mosaddek Hossain was the most successful bowler of the innings. He got 2 wickets for just 8 runs in 2 overs.
Bangladeshi batsman Mehidy Hasan was chosen as the player of the match.
