Beijing, Oct 11: In an international friendly, which is being called the Superclassico, Brazil beat Argentina by 2-0 margin here on Saturday.

It was  Diego Tardelli, who emerged as the hero for Brazil in this contest between the two South American giants, by scoring both the goals.

Tardelli gave Brazil the lead by scoring his first international goal in the 28th minute.

He scored the second goal in the 64 minutes to seal victory for Brazil.

Argentina failed miserably in the match with even its star Lionel Messi missing a penalty when Brazil\'s lead was just one goal.

Messi\'s soft penalty to the left corner was pushed out by Brazil\'s goalkeeper Jefferson.

Brazil team was a mixture of youth and experienced players with both Kaka and Robinho getting a place in the side.

Brazil played the match under coach Dunga who replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari.
