Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan's father-in-law dies
Dhaka, December 17: Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan's father-in-law died on Wednesday in the USA.
Mumtaz Ahmed, Shakib's father-in-law, was 72 years old.
A resident of Wisconsin for almost three decades, Mumtaz Ahmed had been suffering from a breathing problem for a long time.
A few days ago, his physical condition deteriorated.
Meanwhile, Shakib, who was playing in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup after serving a year-long ban imposed by the International Cricket Council, left for the United States to be with his ailing father-in-law, but could not make it in time.
Shakib's team Jamcon Khulna will play the finals of the ongoing domestic T20 tournament.
