Cricketer Tamim Iqbal returns to Bangladesh following treatment in the UK
Dhaka: Bangladeshi cricketer Tamim Iqbal has returned to his residence from London on Saturday morning, following a health check up in the United Kingdom.
The southpaw is the national team's captain for their One Day International (ODI) setup.
Tamim visited doctors in London after complaining of severe intestinal pain. He even underwent tests and scans in Dhaka, however, the exact reason for his ailment could not be spotted.
Following a video conferencing with London based doctors, the athlete decided to travel to the UK.
He is said to have undergone tests there, the reports of which will be out within a few days and doctors will guide him further via e-mails.
