Cricketer Taskin Ahmed welcomes a baby girl
Sports Correspondent, Dhaka, April 30: Bangladesh national cricket team's pacer Taskin Ahmed has become father to his second child, a baby girl.
On Friday morning, Taskin Ahmed's wife Syeda Rabeya Naima gave birth to a baby girl. Taskin himself shared the good news through social media.
In a message on his Facebook profile, 27-year-old fast bowler Taskin wrote, "Alhamdulillah! By the infinite mercy of Allah and the blessings of all of you, I have become father to a baby girl. Everyone pray for her."
Taskin and Naima tied the knot on November 1, 2017. On September 30, 2018, Taskin-Naima's first child (son) came to their lap. The name of their first child is Tasfin Ahmed Rihan.
Taskin is currently out of the team with an injury. The star pacer has played a key role in Bangladesh's one-day series win in the latest tour of South Africa. Taskin was injured in the first Test against South Africa. As a result, he will not be able to play in the series against Sri Lanka at home next month.
