England beat Bangladesh by 132 runs to seal ODI series 2-0

Dhaka, March 4: England beat Bangladesh by 132 runs in the second ODI on Friday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka and secured the three-match bilateral ODI series 2-0.

In the first ODI of this series, there was a good contest between the two teams, but in the second game on Friday, England outplayed Tigers in every aspect. Bangladesh's new coach Chandika Hathurusingha started his first assignment with a loss.

Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, England posted a huge total of 326 on the board riding on Jason Roy's brilliant 132. Bangladesh Taskin Ahmed got three wickets for 66 runs and Mehidy Hasan took two wickets for 73 runs.

Chasing 327, Bangladesh were bowled out for 194 in 44.4 overs. Shakib Al Hasan scored 58 off 69 balls, which is the highest for Bangladesh side. England's Sam Curran and Adil Rashid took four wickets each.

The last match of the series will be played on Monday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
