Dhaka, 24 December 2023 : World's best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, the Awami League party candidate for Magura-1 seat, held a public meeting in different areas of Jagdal Union of Magura Sadar Upazila on Saturday.
Addressing the people, he said, "Inshallah I have come to you. I am your child, the child of the people of Magura."
"I have come to you to ask one thing. That is vote me boat brand win," he said.
So that I can come to you again and again and work for Magura. You will give me this opportunity inshallah. One said 70 percent voter turnout for me. I want a little more.
One said one hundred, I want one hundred. But if 100 is missed then 95 percent can be. InshAllah you want to pay 100, that's what I want. Everyone will vote on the boat brand.
He further said, Hon'ble Prime Minister has sent me here to work for you. Now if you give me a chance I can work for you. InshaAllah I promise, if I get a chance I will not disappoint you.
He said, I am hopeful that the district Awami League and various allied organizations will continue to support me. I will be able to win the Magura-1 seat with a large number of votes and gift it to People's Leader Sheikh Hasina.
