Bangladesh Vs India India women team to tour Bangladesh before T20 World Cup
Dhaka, March 23: Women's T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh next September-October. A total of ten teams including host Bangladesh will participate in this event. The Indian women's cricket team will tour Bangladesh as part of the preparations for the World Cup. Although the T20 tour schedule is not final, it is known that Harmanpreet Kaur's team will play five T20 matches during this tour.
Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, Director and Chairman of Women's Division of BCB, confirmed the matter at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday and said, "India will come to play the series before the World Cup. The schedule of the series is not fixed yet. But they will come here, it is final."
Earlier, the Indian women's cricket team came to Bangladesh twice to play a bilateral series, in 2014 and 2023. The 2014 T20 World Cup was also held in Bangladesh. Before the World Cup, the Indian team played a three-match T20I series in Cox's Bazar.
