Indian cricket team arrives in Dhaka
Dhaka, December 2: India did not send their full team to New Zealand series. Top players of the team took a break after the T20 World Cup. However, India have fielded their full-strength team for the series against Bangladesh. Coach Rahul Dravid arrived in Dhaka on Thursday afternoon with those who did not go to New Zealand.
The Indian cricketers arrived in the capital around 7:30 in the evening. From there, Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma went directly to Team Hotel Sonargaon Pan Pacific. The Bangladesh team will also stay in the same hotel.
Meanwhile, after 18 hours of setting foot in Bangladesh, the Indian cricket team will start practice for the first time on Friday afternoon. Rohit's team's practice will start at 1.30 pm on December 2. The exercise will continue till 4:30 pm.
Bangladesh's first ODI against India will be played at Mirpur's Sher Bangla Stadium on Sunday, December 4. December 7 is the second ODI at the home of cricket. And on November 10, the third and last ODI will be played at Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
The first Test between the Tigers and the Indians started on December 14 at the same venue. The second and final Test will be played at the Sher Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
