Dhaka, November 26: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of football legend Diego Maradona.

In a condolence message on Thursday, the Prime Minister said that the Argentine player, one of the best in the history of football, will always be remembered in the hearts of football lovers around the world and his sporting prowess will serve as an inspiration to future football players.

The Prime Minister wished peace to the soul of the football great and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.

Legendary footballer Maradona died of a heart attack at his home in Argentina on Wednesday. The legend who won the World Cup that year was ill for some time.

Maradona was 60 years old. Maradona returned home from hospital last month. He had undergone an emergency brain surgery at a hospital in Buenos Aires.

Blood clots in the brain were removed. At that time, Maradona had a serious problem with drug addiction.
