SAFF 2022 | Bangladesh SAFF champion Bangladesh women's football team to be welcomed in open-top bus
Sports Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 21: An open-top bus is being decorated to organize a grand welcome for the SAFF Women's Championship winner Bangladesh football team, which has clinched its maiden SAFF title after beating Nepal 3-1 in Kathmandu.
The state minister for sports, Zahid Ahsan Russel, held a meeting with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Tuesday. At the end of the meeting, he announced about the open-top bus,
"There is no such open-top bus in Dhaka. A double-decker bus is being opened from the top. We have taken initiative. The bus is getting ready," he said.
After 19 years, Sabina Khatun and her team brought the success of a SAFF win. The whole country is floating on their success. They will arrive in Dhaka today afternoon. They will be taken from the airport to Motijheel BFF Bhaban by the open-top bus.
