Rangpur-Sylhet Sylhet suffers big loss to Rangpur

Another experienced cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim led the team. However, Sylhet Strikers felt the lack of Mashrafe well. Even with a capital of 170 runs, the table toppers could not fight with Rangpur Riders.
Rangpur defeated Sylhet by 8 wickets and 2 overs in the second match of the day in BPL in Mirpur on Saturday. Nurul Hasan Sohan's team beat Fortune Barisal and Comilla Victorians with 14 points in this win. They are fourth because they are lagging behind in run-rate.
Two openers Rony Talukder and Naeem Sheikh showed Rangpur an easy way to win the game with a target of 171 runs. Rony played a devastating innings of 66 runs in 35 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Naim scored 45 off 32 balls with 6 boundaries.
After that, Shoaib Malik and Nurul Hasan Sohan easily covered the rest of the way. Shoaib remained unbeaten on 39 runs off 24 balls, captain Sohan left the field with 17 off 17 balls.
Earlier, Sylhet strikers could not open the hands of Rangpur Riders bowlers. Their run was 55 for 1 in 10 overs. At the end of 20 overs, that team has picked up 170 runs for 2 wickets!
In the last 10 overs, Sylhet scored 115 runs by beating Rangpur's bowlers. The entire achievement of which is due to the two batsmen Tauhid Hriday and Mushfiqur Rahim.
