Saifuddin Injury T20 World Cup: Rubel Hossain to replace injured Saifuddin
Dhaka, October 27: Pacer Rubel Hossain has replaced teammate Mohammad Saifuddin in the Bangladesh squad for the ongoing T20 World Cup, after the latter has been been ruled out following an injury.
According to reports, Saiduddin has sustained a back injury during Bangladesh's fixture against Sri Lanka. The pacer has been ruled out from the remainder of the competition.
Rubel was initially kept as a reserve player.
The ICC Technical Committee allowed him to be a part of the main squad on Tuesday night.
Rubel has played 28 T20 International matches for Bangladesh.
He will gain direct access to the team as the pacer was in the same bio-bubble as the squad.
