West Indies cricketer Romario Shepherd out of squad after testing Covid-19 positive

Dhaka, January 8: West Indies cricket allrounder Romario Shepherd, who was due to travel to Bangladesh to take part in the natinal team's three ODI and two Test match series, has been ruled out after he tested positive for the coronavirus. Keon Harding has replaced him.

Romario is currently at home in Guyana, in self-isolation.

A statement from Cricket West Indies on Friday said Romario had suffered a corona attack. Apart from him, all the other members scheduled to visit Bangladesh are have tested neagtive.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Harding has played 24 first-class matches for Barbados so far, taking 54 wickets. He also has 34 wickets in 20 List A matches. He got a chance in the ODI team in place of Romario in the Bangladesh tour.
