Dhaka, June 30: Md. Abdul Hamid celebrated Eid-ul-Azha at Haor of his village Kishoreganj after serving as President for 10 years and 41 days.

Dhaka, June 27: After serving as president for 10 years and 41 days, former president Md. Abdul Hamid went to his native Kishoreganj's Kamalpuwa for the first time. He reached Kamalpur of Mithamain upazila by boat around 6:30 pm on Monday.

Dhaka, April 25: Bangabhaban bid farewell to the outgoing President Md. Abdul Hamid through a state ceremony. After independence, this is the first time in the 52-year history of Bangladesh that a head of state has been bid farewell by Bangabhaban.

Dhaka, April 16: Jagannath, Comilla and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology announced to withdraw from the cluster system within 2 years of the introduction of the this system. Amidst such uncertainty, President Md. Abdul Hamid has ordered the universities to complete the admission test programme in cluster system for the academic year 2022-23.
