Threat to kill Prime Minister: BNP leader Chand sent to 2-day remand

Dhaka, June 7: The court granted a two-day remand to BNP leader Abu Saeed Chand of Rajshahi in the case of threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Hasibul Haque granted the remand after the hearing on Wednesday (June 7).

BNP leader Chand remanded for 3 more days

Dhaka, May 30: Rajshahi district BNP convener Abu Saeed Chand, accused in the case of threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been remanded by the court for another three days. After the 5-day remand on Tuesday around 12 noon, Chand was taken to the police court and asked for a 10-day remand. Rajshahi District and Sessions Judge Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Mahbub Alam granted a three-day remand.

Threat to kill Prime Minister, case against BNP leader Chand

Dhaka, May 22: Rajshahi district BNP convener Abu Saeed Chand (66) has been charged with threatening to kill the Prime Minister. A local Awami League leader named Abul Kalam Azad filed the case at around 12 noon on Monday (May 22).
