Dhaka, July 15: Three people were killed in a collision between a private car and a motorcycle in Konabari of Gazipur metropolis. A child was injured in this incident.
Dhaka, March 19: Three people have been killed in a head-on collision between a truck and an autorickshaw at Madhabpur in Habiganj. The accident took place on Saturday (March 19) morning in front of Jalalabad Gas Field in Madhabpur Municipality on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.
Dhaka, March 18: A teenager drowned while taking a bath in Padma river in Rajshahi. Two more friends jumped into the river to save him. The drowned teenager survived but the two friends died. The accident took place on Friday (March 18) at around 11:30 am in the Padma river in Barakuthi area of the city. The deceased have been identified as Nirab, 15, son of Sarik of Barakuthi area of Rajshahi and Shahin, 16, son of Sayed of the same area.
Dhaka, February 22: After the death of his five brothers in the pickup-truck accident at Chakaria in Cox's Bazar, Raktim Sushil also succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday (February 22) morning in the ICU of Chittagong Medical College Hospital in a life support (ventilator). His brother-in-law Khagesh Chandra said.
Dhaka, February 14: A young man named Dipu Sardar (28) was killed when he was hit by a speeding vehicle in Matsya Bhaban area of the capital. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Dhaka, February 8: Four brothers were killed in a pick-up accident at Chakaria in Cox's Bazar. The accident happened while they were returning home after mourning for their father who had died ten days ago. They were killed in the Malughat Ringbong area of Dulahazara on the highway around 5:00 am on Tuesday (February 8).
Dhaka, February 7: At least three people were killed when a mini truck collided with a bus while overtaking a pickup truck at Chakaria on the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong highway. At least 30 others were injured. The accident took place on the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong highway in Medhakchhapia area of Khutakhali in Chakaria upazila around 11:30 pm on Sunday (February 6). Safayet Hossain, in-charge (inspector) of Malumghat Highway police outpost confirmed the incident.

Dhaka, August 28: In Brahmanbaria, a case has been registered against seven more people in connection with the sinking of a trawler. Police have arrested five people in the incident. Selim Mia, son of late Abdul Hasim of Champaknagar in the upazila, filed the case with Bijoyanagar Police Station on Saturday (August 28). Four members of his family were killed in the trawler sinking.
Dhaka, August 28: Three people, including a boatman, have been arrested in connection with the capsizing of a trawler that led to the death of at least 21 people, most of whom were women and children, in Brahmanbaria's Bijoynagar on Friday.

Dhaka, August 16: Seven people, including women and children, were killed when a microbus collided with an electric pole in the Vendibazar area of Chakriya in Cox's Bazar. One of the dead was a pedestrian and the other six were passengers of a microbus. One of them died on the spot while the other six were taken to hospital. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Chakaria Police Station Shaker Md Jubayer said this.
