Dhaka, September 15: Bangladesh is ready to send food and medicine to Afghanistan and to be involved in any kind of UN initiative. Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen made the remarks at a high-level UN meeting on the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan on Tuesday (September 14). During the six-hour meeting, various countries discussed how to help Afghanistan.

Bangladesh will not recognize the Taliban government: Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Six Bangladeshi engineers stranded in Kabul have returned home

Dhaka, September 1: Six Bangladeshi engineers working in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, have returned home. They arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on EK 584 around 11:30 pm on Tuesday (August 31). Earlier in the day, they left Doha, Qatar for Dubai to return home. Later they left Dubai for Dhaka.

Dhaka, August 17: Rejecting claims that several Bangladeshi youths have joined the Taliban in Afghanistan, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told reporters that it is baseless, stating that there isn't such an opportunity for Bangladeshis to go to Taliban-occupied Afghanistan. He said it during an inter-ministerial meeting on drugs and security chaired by him at the cabinet meeting room in the secretariat on Tuesday (August 17) afternoon.
