Dhaka, Jan 3: Members of the Armed Forces have been deployed across the country to assist the local civil administration in order to complete the 12th National Parliament elections in a free, fair, neutral and peaceful manner.

National Assembly Polls: EC to hold meeting with Army this evening

Dhaka, Dec 11: The Election Commission (EC) is going to hold a meeting with the Principal Staff Officer of the Army this evening regarding the deployment of troops in the 12th National Assembly elections. It is said that the meeting will be held under the leadership of CEC Kazi Habibul Awal at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon around 7 pm today (Monday, December 11).

EC will take the help of the army in the national elections

Dhaka, August 25: It has been decided to take the help of the army in the upcoming parliamentary elections. However, the organization does not want to give any judicial power to the army members. Election Commissioner Md Alamgir told reporters at the Agargaon election building in the capital on Thursday (August 25).
