Own representative, Dhaka, January 4: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has ruled on the two daughters of American citizen of Bangladeshi origin, Imran Sharif, and Japanese national Dr. Nakano Erico. According to the order, the two girls will stay with their mother till January 23. They will stay at Hotel Scott Palace in Baridhara of the capital. Their father, Imran Sharif, can meet them any time between 9 am and 9 pm everyday.

Japanese children custody: Daughters to stay with mother till January 3, orders court

Own representative, Dhaka, 15 December 2021: The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has ruled  that the two daughters will stay with their Japanese mother till January 3. However, father Imran Sharif will be able to meet the children at any time between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm every day. The names of these two daughters are Jasmine Malika (11) and Laila Lina (10).

Own representative, Dhaka, 13 December 2021: American citizen of Bangladeshi descent Imran Sharif and Japanese citizen Dr. Erico Nakano's two infant daughters will stay at their mother's house in Gulshan for two days. Then next Wednesday the Appellate Division has called the two children of Sharif-Erico to appear before them. A five-judge appellate bench headed by the chief justice gave this judgment. The order was issued on Sunday after a preliminary hearing of Nakano Erico's appeal against the High Court's verdict.

Daughters in father's custody: Japanese mother's appeal against High Court verdict

Own representative, Dhaka, December 6: Nakano Erico, a Japanese national, has filed an appeal against the High Court's verdict on his two daughters. The petition (CMP) was filed in the concerned branch of the Appellate Division on Sunday (December 5), said lawyer Mohammad Shishir Monir.

Custody battle: Father's writ to present third child residing in Japan

Dhaka, October 21: A writ petition has been filed in the High Court seeking directions to produce the third child- currently residing in Japan- of Bangladeshi father Imran Sharif and Japanese mother Nakano Erico. The children's father Imran Sharif has filed the writ petition.

Dhaka, October 1: Japanese mother Nakano Erico will stay with her two children, Jasmine Malika and Laila Lina, in a flat in Dhaka;s Gulshan neighbourhood. Bangladeshi father Imran Sharif will be able to meet his children only during the day. The rent of the flat should be borne equally by the parents of the children. The order will remain in force till October 21. The High Court will give the next order on that day.

Dhaka, August 23: Nakano Erico, a Japanese citizen, has filed a writ petition in the High Court in Dhaka seeking the return of her two children after a breakup with Sharif Imran, an American citizen of Bangladeshi descent. The High Court has directed them to appear in court by August 31.
