At this time many of them reached their destination on foot, or in rickshaws, vans and motorcycles.
1 crore 6 lakh Eid-home-goers left Dhaka within 12 days
Dhaka, May 17: Due to the Corona pandemic, working people were not allowed to go home during the Eid holidays. Launches, trains and long-distance buses were closed. But more than one crore and six lakh people have left Dhaka in 12 days. And more than four lakh people have returned to Dhaka in one day after the Eid holiday.
