Dhaka, December 29: After Padma Setu one more expectation was fulfilled. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the much-desired metro rail in the city of Dhaka. Through this, the suffering of the people of Dhaka will be reduced a lot. And because of that, the image of Awami League government will shine. This is what influential American media Bloomberg said after the inauguration of the first metro rail in Bangladesh on Wednesday (December 28).

Dhaka, December 29: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Agargaon from Uttara in just 17 minutes by riding the dream metro rail. More than two hundred passengers were accompanying the Prime Minister in this much-awaited flying train. In addition to Prime Minister's younger sister Sheikh Rehana, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, there were various government officials and people from various professions.

Metro Rail trial run starts on Uttara-Agargaon route
Own representative, Dhaka, December 10: As a part of the Performance Test, Metro Rail has started plying from Uttara to Agargaon at a maximum speed of 15 kmph. The distance from Uttara to Agargaon section is 11.58 kilometers. It took an hour and a half to cross this road on Thursday (December 9). The train stopped at Uttara North, Uttara Center, Uttara South, Pallabi, Mirpur-11, Mirpur-10, Kazipara and Shewrapara stations and reached Agargaon at 12:47 pm.
