Dhaka, Nov 15: After US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Affairs Donald Lu wrote to the three major parties of Bangladesh to sit in the dialogue 'without preconditions', Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader urged President Md. Shahabuddin to take the initiative for this dialogue.

Dhaka, June 7: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that there is no alternative to dialogue in the interest of a free, fair and acceptable election and democracy ahead of the 12th national election.
