Drones to be added to mega project monitoring
Dhaka, March 11: Drones will be used to monitor the timely implementation and completion of ongoing projects in the country. Also, a mega project will be inspected thrice a year. The Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation Department (IMED) of the Ministry of Planning will implement this directive from March this year. The number of ongoing and completed mega projects is eight.
Bangladesh Police to use Robot-Drone-Artificial Intelligence
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, January 27: Bangladesh Police has taken initiative to increase the capacity to use information technology to make the police a useful force like the developed countries by 2041. As part of this, the use of robots, drones and artificial intelligence technology is being added to the force. For this, information on various crimes and offenders will be inserted through data fusion technology.
Drones deployed to kill mosquitoes
Dhaka, March 3: Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has decided to use drones to kill mosquitoes in the capital Dhaka. These drones will be used to spray drugs in areas where the corporation's mosquito killers or vehicles carrying fogger machines cannot go.
