Dhaka, March 12: Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader has said that elections will be held in time as per the constitution while asking the BNP to not make any demands in this regard. 

Awami League's vote share increasing

Dhaka, March 3: The votes of the ruling Awami League have been steadily increasing. The party received 5 percent more votes this time than in the previous municipal polls. On the contrary, the main rival BNP is losing votes. The party received 6.5 percent less votes than in the 2015 municipal elections. This information was obtained by reviewing the results of the recently held municipal elections.

Voter Day Today, the final updated list is being published

Dhaka, March 2: Today is Tuesday (March 2) National Voters Day. The Election Commission (EC) will release the latest updated voter list on this day. Besides, various programs have been taken on the occasion of the day. EC Joint Secretary Asaduzzaman said this on Monday (March 1). He said the final voter list for the 2020 voter list update would be released on National Voters' Day.
