Prime Minister Hasina seeks India's cooperation to bring electricity from Bhutan
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 22 March 2024: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought India's cooperation to import electricity from Bhutan. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pranay Verma called on the Prime Minister at Ganabhaban, his official residence, on Thursday and sought this cooperation.
Solar power plants are being built in three districts at a cost of Tk 10,612 crore

A tripartite agreement to be signed to bring Nepal's electricity to Bangladesh

It has already been agreed in principle to bring this electricity from Nepal mainly using Indian transmission lines.
