Dhaka, September 21: A court has remanded Md Rassel, MD of e-commerce company Evaly, for another day in a fraud case filed with Dhanmondi Police Station. On the other hand, Rassel's wife Shamima Nasrin, the Chairperson of the organization, has been sent to jail after rejecting her remand application. Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Hasibul Haque passed the order after a hearing on Tuesday (September 21st).

Evaly Chairman-MD placed on three-day remand

Dhaka, September 18: Mohammad Rassel, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of e-commerce company Evaly, and his wife Shamima Nasrin, chairman of the organisation, have been remanded in custody for three days.

Dhaka, September 17: RAB has arrested Shamima Nasrin, chairman of e-commerce company Evaly, and her husband Mohammad Rassel, managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. The two were arrested in a raid on their residence in the capital's Mohammadpur on Thursday (September 16) afternoon. After that they have been interrogated at the RAB headquarters.

Evaly's chairman-MD banned from leaving Bangladesh

Dhaka, July 10: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a letter to Immigration banning the emigration of e-commerce platform Evaly's managing director Mohammad Russell and chairman Shamima Nasrin. An ACC source said on Friday (July 9).
