Factories, domestic flights to be operational from August 6
Dhaka, August 5: Factories and domestic flights will become operational from tomorrow (Friday, August 6). A notification was issued by the Cabinet Division on Thursday (August 5) pertaining to the same.
Owners request government to re-open factories
Dhaka, July 29: The owners have requested the government to open all kinds of industries including garments. Leaders of various business organizations made the demand during a meeting with Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam at the Secretariat on Thursday (July 29th).
Industries will remain closed from July 23 to August 5
Dhaka, July 13: All types of factories will remain shut from July 23 till August 5 or during the second cycle of hard lockdown in the country, according to a government notification.
Coronavirus: National Advisory Committee suggests opening factories in phases
Dhaka, May 18: The National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 has suggested to open the factory in phases after Eid. The suggestion was made at the 34th virtual meeting of the committee chaired by Professor Mohammad Sahidullah.
