Own correspondent, Dhaka, 11 March 2024: The moon of the month of Ramadan was seen in the sky of the country on Monday (11 March) evening. Therefore, the holy month of fasting (fasting) for Muslims begins tomorrow, Tuesday (March 12). The holy Lailatul Qadr will be celebrated on the night of April 6 (Saturday).

The government has suddenly amended it. The Ministry of Education and Primary and Mass Education has also issued a notification regarding this change in holidays. According to the new decision, primary schools will remain open for the first 10 days of fasting and secondary schools for 15 days. Teachers are 'displeased' with the sudden decision to cancel the holiday.

Dhaka, March 22: The moon of the holy month of Ramadan was not seen anywhere in the country on Wednesday evening. As a result, the fasting month of Ramadan begins on Friday (March 24). The holy Lailatul Qadr will be celebrated on the night of April 18 (Tuesday).

Prime Minister calls to be careful about black marketers during Ramadan

Dhaka, March 16: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged everyone to be careful so that black marketers do not create a shortage of daily commodities during Ramadan. She made this call while inaugurating 50 model mosques in different parts of the country, including Agailjhara in Barisal, Phulbaria in Mymensingh and Tentulia in Panchagarh on Thursday (March 16) morning in a video conference from Gana Bhavan.
