Natural gas price rises again
Dhaka, January 19: The government has announced a hike in the price of natural gas. However, the prices of residential gas, CNG, and the tea industry gas remain the same. Prices increased in the power, industrial and commercial sectors. The new price will be effective from next month.
Fuel oil-gas-electricity prices will be adjusted every month
Dhaka, January 10: The government is setting a strategy to adjust the prices of fuel oil, gas, and electricity every month as mandated by the 'Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2022'.
Govt gets power to determine electricity and fuel prices in special cases
Dhaka, December 2: In special cases, not the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), but the government will determine, revise and coordinate the prices of fuel oil, electricity and gas at the consumer level. President Md. Abdul Hamid issued the 'Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (Amendment) Ordinance, 2022' on Thursday (December 1) with such power.
Gas becomes costlier: Tk 990 for single burner, Tk 1,080 for double burner
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, June 6: The government has increased the price of gas for retail consumers. The price of domesting single burner has been increased from Tk 950 to Tk 990 and domestic double burner has been increased from Tk 975 to Tk 1,080. However, the price of CNG has not increased. The new price is effective from June 1.
