Dhaka, June 17: The Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) has decided to allow the Bangavax vaccine, a coronavirus vaccine produced by Bangladeshi company Globe Biotech, to be tested in humans. However, they have to meet certain conditions before getting official permission.
Dhaka, January 6: Globe Biotech Limited of Bangladesh has received permission to produce coronavirus vaccine for experimental application. Dr. Asif Mahmood, research and development in-charge of Globe Biotech Limited, said that they were given the permission on December 28.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has listed the corona vaccine 'Bancovid' made by Globe Biotech as a vaccine candidate. This information was announced on the website of Globe Biotech on Saturday (October 18).
Dhaka, October 6: Globe Biotech Limited, the only Bangladeshi company in the race to develop a vaccine against the coronavirus epidemic, has said it will soon apply to the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMAC) for a clinical trial of its possible vaccine, Bancovid.
