Government to turn Shishu Hospital into institution, draft approved

Dhaka, March 10: The children's hospital is being converted into an institute. To this end, the cabinet has given final approval to the draft of 'Bangladesh Children's Hospitals and Institutes Act, 2021'. The approval was given at a virtual cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday (March 9th). The ministers attended the meeting via video conference from Ganobhaban to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat. Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam told a press briefing at the secretariat after the meeting.
