Dhaka, April 20: Low-income people are rushing to celebrate Eid with their relatives in trucks and pickups due to the extra fare in public transport. They are going to their respective destinations in a truck-pickup with a small risk. On Thursday (April 20) noon, such a picture was seen on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway and Dhaka-Tangail highway.

Transport crisis as homebound crowd leave Dhaka ahead of Eid

Dhaka, July 8: People are leaving the capital ahead of Eid. As a result, a huge crowd of passengers was seen at the bus terminal and train station of the capital. On the other hand, last-minute trade is going on in the capital's sacrificial animal markets. Meanwhile, the capital is slowly becoming silent. The number of people on the busiest roads of the city has decreased. Most of the shops and restaurants along the road are now closed.

Homebound crowd visible on Eid day

Dhaka, May 3: Many people could not leave Dhaka before Eid due to various reasons including not having holidays and avoiding suffering during Eid. Many of them also leave Dhaka on Eid day to share happiness with family, relatives and friends. Most of these Eid passengers are traders or shop workers.

Homebound traffic increases ahead of Eid

Dhaka, April 29: Holy Eid-ul-Fitr is knocking on the door. In the meantime, the holiday of many government and non-government organizations has started from Friday (April 29). As a result, the pressure of homebound people has started in the capital from 3 pm on Thursday (April 28).
