Dhaka, July 21: Another 173 people have succumbed to the deadly Covid-19 disease across Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 18,494. During the same time, 7,614 new people tested positive for the virus.

Dhaka, July 20: The Covid-19 death toll in Bangladesh reached 18,325 after another 200 people died in the country in the last 24 hours, between Monday and Tuesday.

Dhaka, July 19: Surpassing the previous single-day record for death, the country registered 231 fatalities in the last 24 hours, between Sunday and Monday. With it, the death toll too crossed the 18,000 mark.

Covid-19: Death toll crosses 17,000 as Bangladesh records 210 deaths, 12,383 new cases within 24 hours

Dhaka, July 14: The coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh has crossed the 17,000 mark after another 210 people died in the last 24 hours, between Tuesday and Wednesday, said an official press release from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Dhaka, July 13: Bangladesh has recorded its second highest single-day caseload after registering 12,198 new infections in the last 24 hours- between Monday and Tuesday. The country has, so far, recorded 10,47,155 coronavirus cases.

Dhaka, July 12: For the second day in a row, the daily coronavirus caseload surpassed the previous record. After reporting 11,874 infections on Sunday, the country registered 13,768 fresh cases within 24 hours between Sunday and Monday. With it, the overall infection tally climbed to 10,34,957.

Bangladesh records highest single-day caseload as 11,651 people test positive for Covid-19

Dhaka, July 8: The coronavirus juggernaut continues to break and make new records in Bangladesh almost every day. In the last 24 hours- between Wednesday and Thursday- the country has registered 11,651 new Covid-19 cases, which is now the highest single-day caseload since the first case was detected in Bangladesh on March 8, 2020.

Single-day deaths cross 200 for the first time; 11,162 test positive for Covid-19

Dhaka, July 7: The national single-day death toll has crossed the 200-mark for the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus, as 201 people succumbed to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, between Tuesday and Wednesday. The overall death toll jumped to 15,593.
