Dhaka, June 6: The High Court has directed to appoint doctors within one month for vacant posts in the prisons of the country.
Jail for 10 years if child goes missing from day care center
Dhaka, February 8: The cabinet has approved the draft law with a provision of maximum 10 years imprisonment and a fine of up to Tk 5 lakh if a child goes missing from a daycare center.

Another 47 Vietnam returnees freed
Dhaka, 6 October: Another 47 prisoners who returned from Vietnam have been released. They were released from Kashimpur Central Jail in Gazipur on Tuesday afternoon by a court order. Recently, 106 Bangladeshis returned to the country after being cheated in Vietnam. After returning to the country, they were supposed to go to their respective homes at the end of the official quarantine, but the Turag police arrest them.
