On Wednesday, Khaleda Zia's lawyer, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, applied to the relevant branch of the High Court.

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 30 September 2023: Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said that the opinion will be given tomorrow, Sunday 1 October, regarding the application of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to be taken abroad for better treatment. Anisul Huq gave this information to reporters on Saturday. Earlier this application was made on September 25.

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, 25 September 2023: Law Minister Anisul Huq has said that there is nothing the government can do about sending BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia abroad. He said this in response to a question from reporters at the Ministry of Law Secretariat on Monday.
Dhaka, Sept 25: Stating that there are legal complications in taking BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia abroad, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that court approval may be required in this case. However, the law minister knows that well and the ministry cannot do anything outside the law.
