Dhaka, December 6: Bangladesh and India have completed preparations for grand celebration of Friendship Day/Moitree Dibosh on Dec 6, the historic day when India, as the second country, recognized Bangladesh as a sovereign and independent state in 1971 after Bhutan.

Bangladesh-India Friendship Day is being celebrated in 18 countries today

Own representative, Dhaka, 6 December: 50 years of Bangladesh-India relations are going to be celebrated this year. On this occasion, the two countries are jointly celebrating Friendship Day on Monday (December 6). Apart from Dhaka and Delhi, Bangladesh-India Friendship Day is being celebrated in 18 countries of the world.
