Government working to recognize March 25 as International Genocide Day: Foreign Minister
Dhaka, September 23: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said that the incumbent Awami League government is working to get March 25 recognized as International Genocide Day. He said that the genocide committed by the Pakistani military in 1971 was one of the heinous crimes in human history.

Dhaka, March 25: Today is March 25. On this date in 1971, a horrible night came down in the life of the Bengali nation. At midnight, the barbaric Pakistani aggressors, armed with sophisticated weapons, attacked the unarmed Bengalis all over the country, including the capital Dhaka, with the abominable aim of silencing the voices of the Bengalis forever according to the blueprint of their pre-planned Operation Search Light.

Dhaka, March 24: Genocide and Independence Day will be observed on March 25 and 26 in technical and madrasa educational institutions. For this, it has been directed to take various programs. A directive in this regard has been issued on Tuesday (March 23) signed by the Registrar of the Madrasa Board Md. Siddiqur Rahman.
