DSCC plans to collect marriage tax
Dhaka, May 25: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) plans to collect tax on marriages to increase revenue. The organization sent a letter seeking the approval of the Ministry of Law to implement this plan. The ministry has also approved introduction of marriage tax in DSCC areas. As a result, if someone plans to get married in the area under the jurisdiction of South City, he/she has to keep this tax in mind.
