Dhaka, May 8: Historic 7 May. A memorable day for the democracy-loving people of Bangladesh. On this day in 2007, during the state of emergency declared by the then caretaker government, Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina returned to the country to restore democracy after overcoming hundreds of adversities after receiving treatment from the United States.
