Dhaka, October 24: The deep depression over the Bay of Bengal has turned into Cyclone Hamun. The Met office has asked Mongla seaport to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number 4. The warning was issued on Monday evening.

Denmark to help with rainwater harvesting project in Mongla

Dhaka, January 28: BRAC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Denmark to implement a rainwater harvesting project in Mongla upazila of climate-risky Bagerhat. The memorandum was signed at the residence of the Danish Ambassador in the capital Dhaka on Thursday (January 27).
