25 ministers, 11 state ministers in new cabinet
Dhaka, Jan 11: The new cabinet is being formed with 37 members. Apart from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, there are 25 ministers and 11 state ministers in this cabinet. Meanwhile, the Cabinet Department has published the list of 36 members of the new cabinet. However, the offices (ministries) of ministers and state ministers have not been distributed yet.
12th Parliament election by 29 January 2024
Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Sept 15: The 12th parliamentary elections will be held between November next year and January 2024. The first session of the 11th Parliament began on January 23, 2019. In that case, there is a constitutional obligation to complete the twelfth parliamentary elections by January 29, 2024.
New political parties' registration deadline extended by 2 months
