Railway track laying starts on Padma Bridge

Dhaka, August 20: The work of laying railway track on Padma Bridge has started. Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan inaugurated the track laying program at the Jazira end of the bridge at around 12 noon on Saturday (August 20). Record Tk 4.19 crore toll collection on Padma Bridge in a single day

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, July 10: The highest daily toll collection on the Padma Bridge has been recorded. A maximum of 31,723 vehicles crossed the Padma Bridge on Friday ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha. Tk 4 crore 19 lakh 39 thousand 650 rupees toll has been collected from those vehicles, which is the highest record of toll collection in a single day so far.
