Rail line construction work on Padma Setu completed
Dhaka, March 30: The stoneless railway line construction on Padma Setu has been completed. On Wednesday (March 29) around 5:30 pm, 0.15 km of the project was completed. It has connected Jazira end with Mawa on railway road.
Trial run of trains on Padma Setu to start from March 30
Dhaka, March 28: The construction of the stoneless railway line on the lower deck of the Padma Setu is also in its final stage. About 99 percent of the work has been completed. Only one more sleeper placement is left. The construction of the line will be completed once the seven meter long sleeper is installed. There are also plans to run trial trains on the entire Mawa-Jazira bridge from March 30 when the sleeper is installed.
Construction of Padma Setu rail link to end before scheduled time
Dhaka, March 1: The rail link work on the Padma Bridge was supposed to be completed by 2024. However, the Ministry of Railways expects this work to be completed by next June. This information was given in the report given in the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Railway Ministry held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Tuesday.

Own Correspondent, Dhaka, Nov 9: Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed said that the construction of 172 km of railway will be completed in June 2024 under the Padma Setu Rail Link Project. It will connect nine districts of South West with the capital.
