12th National Parliament begins today

Dhaka, Jan 30: The Awami League has formed a new government after getting the majority in the 12th National Parliament elections. The first parliament session is starting today (Tuesday, January 30) with all the MPs who won the 12th national parliament election.

Dhaka, Jan 29: The first session of the 12th National Parliament is starting tomorrow (Tuesday, January 30). The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed some restrictions to maintain peace and order in the Parliament building and surrounding areas during the session.

Earlier, 18 bills were passed in nine working days of the 24th session. The opposition National Party played an active role from the beginning to the end of the Parliament. They actively participate in every bill passing process.
