Own Correspondence, Dhaka, 28 July 2023: The three sister organizations of the ruling party Awami League and opposition parties including BNP had a rally today. These gatherings started after noon. On the one hand, there is tension between the party leaders and supporters around the rallies, on the other hand, there is apprehension among the general citizens of the capital. The streets of most parts of the capital were a little emptier on Friday compared to other weekends. No one went out on the streets without a very urgent need.
